Classes & Fees

Far from the typical lullabies and simple children’s music found in most music classes for babies, parents will enjoy the unique playlists of classic rock and pop music featured in this class. We know babies love this music too, and - even better – we know that babies learn best from the complex rhythms and varied tonalities and meters featured in these carefully selected playlists. Enjoy instrument play, creative movement, sensory exploration, story time, and baby sign language in each and every class. At the same time, you and your baby will be building strong parent-child bonds and getting to know other awesome parents too!

Your toddler will enjoy active instrument play, creative movement and dance, while developing fine and gross motor skills, self-regulation, and foundational musical concepts. Activities such as focused listening and story time are included in every class to support your child’s cognitive, social, and emotional development – developing concentration, focus, and a love of literacy. Most importantly, this class gives you and your toddler a great way to spend quality time together - having fun while rocking out to music you will both love!

Instrument play, dancing, creative movement – these activities and more are included in this play-based, enriched learning environment. Foundational music concepts such as rhythm, tempo, dynamics and pitch are introduced in a multi-sensory approach, while children also gain important social skills through musical ensemble, cooperative games and turn taking. Parents will have fun rocking out with their kids to a new playlist each week, and can bring the learning home with the included activity extensions and playlist suggestions included in Rock On emails.

Based on enrollment for the Family Band classes, the instructors will combine a mix of Instrument play, dancing, creative movement, foundational music concepts, fine & gross motor skills and more in this play-based, enriched learning environment.
